Interesting pose, and I always love the sunlight in shots like these :-)

Only one thing, maybe a bit more contrast between the model's hair and the tree in the background would have helped, since they are almost the same brightness right now.

yeah, that might look better with brighter background :)

you should work on multiple layers in order to avoid loosing quality of the image. and work on different adjustments such as curves, levels, channel mixer - depends on what you want to achieve - but not on the image itself, but -->layers-->adjustments [in photoshop]

and you need to photograph as much as you can, it's the best method to improve your skills :)

Hrm, I didn't know about adjustment layers, unfortunately they are not in Gimp, which I use. Maybe in the future...

And photographing as much as I can, will do! :D
